SHT Software built the StudyHSC - Smart Exam Helper app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by SHT Software and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at StudyHSC - Smart Exam Helper unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email, Name, Phone Number, Institute Name, hsc_batch, Department, Approximate location, Device IDs, Purchase history, App interactions, Photo. The information that we request will be retained by SHT Software (https://shtacademy.com/) and used as described in this privacy policy.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

 Profile Picture

To personalize user experience, users have the option to upload a profile picture. This image is displayed in features such as the leaderboard and user profile. Uploaded profile pictures are stored securely on our third-party hosting provider (Hostinger) and are only used for in-app functionality. The image is not shared with advertisers or used for analytics or marketing purposes. Users can choose not to upload a profile picture, and can request to update or delete it at any time by contacting us.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. We use in app updates to provide our users with the latest features and improvements to our app. During the in app update process, we may collect information about your device, including your device model, operating system version, and app version. This information is collected to ensure that we provide you with the correct version of the app for your device. We do not collect any personal information during the in app update process.

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Third-Party Payment Processors:

We use Nagorikpay to handle all payment transactions. By using our service, you acknowledge that your payment details are processed by these third-party services. 

Data Deletion Right:

You have the right to delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, your password and other sensitive data will be permanently removed from our system, and you will no longer be able to use this account.

However, to prevent abuse of our services (such as using free trials multiple times), we may keep some basic information even after account deletion. This includes your: Email address, Signup date, Name, Phone number, Institute, HSC batch, Department, Device ID.

We keep this information only to protect our system from misuse and for security or legal reasons. These details are stored securely and are not used for marketing or any other unrelated purpose. If you are sure you will not use our app anymore and want all of your data, including the above details, to be completely deleted, please contact us by email at [tanverahmed.playstore2023@gmail.com]. After verifying your request, we will permanently delete everything within 7 days.
