What does the Spanish Immersion Program in Santiago de Cuba offer?

Homestay Spanish Immersion in Santiago de Cuba provides both, a carefully selected homestay and a Spanish language program on the dates that suit you and with the intensity you require. This is a unique opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills and discover Cuban culture while living and studying either in your teacher's home or your host family.

All programs are a minimum of one week and are primarily aimed at adults aged over 18.  Students aged 14 and 17  must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of their course.

Customizing private classes -  We will adapt our program to your level and goals.

If you’re willing to spend a brief period abroad to become more confident in the use of Spanish, this program is quite possibly the most effective solutions for you!

You can learn at your own level and pace, with a course designed especially for your particular needs and interests. Your individually designed course will take into consideration your language needs and personal objectives. Personal attention is guaranteed from start to finish.

Using authentic Spanish material such as magazines, newspapers or TV, we create our own teaching materials to help you to build skills to communicate better.

Courses are normally one-to-one (1:1) but if you have a friend whose level of Spanish and needs are similar to yours, you can choose our Two-to-One (2:1).

Please bring any stationery that you may require e.g. pens, pencils, notebook, eraser, coloured pens etc.

 Each class lasts 50 minutes.

Which Currency Should I Take on My Trip to Cuba?

The Cuban Central Bank announced new restrictions on the use or conversion of U.S. dollars beginning June 21, 2021. U.S. dollars in cash cannot be converted to local currency, may not be accepted for payment, and cannot be used to pay fees or taxes at the airport, which is why many opted for the European currency for trips to the island.

U.S. credit and debit cards do not work in Cuba.
