Overview
StudioScan is a document scanning application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we
collect and how we use it.
Data Collection
StudioScan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your documents, scans,
signatures, and OCR text remain exclusively on your device.
Camera & Photo Library
StudioScan requests access to your camera to scan documents and to your photo library to import images. These
permissions are used solely for scanning and importing — no images are uploaded or shared with third parties.
In-App Purchases
Premium features are unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We
do not have access to your payment information. Purchase transactions are managed entirely by the respective
platform.
OCR Processing
Text recognition (OCR) is performed locally on your device using ML Kit. No document content is sent to any
server.
Analytics & Tracking
StudioScan does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, crash
reports, or device identifiers.
Data Storage
All data (scans, documents, settings) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all
associated data.
Children's Privacy
StudioScan does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
