- Basic diagnostic and request information
An IP address may provide an approximate indication of geographic location, but we do not use IP addresses to determine your precise physical location.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
## Legal Bases for Processing
If the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), UK GDPR, or similar data-protection law applies to you, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases.
### Performance of a Contract
We process account information, authentication information, music data, and application data where processing is necessary to provide Flipbook and the functionality you request.
Without this information, we may be unable to create or maintain your account or provide features that require server communication.
### Legitimate Interests
We may process limited technical information, including request information and IP addresses, where necessary for our legitimate interests in:
- Securing Flipbook
- Preventing unauthorized access or abuse
- Maintaining service reliability
- Diagnosing errors
- Improving the operation of the service
We consider these interests against the privacy rights of our users and limit this processing to information reasonably necessary for these purposes.
### Legal Obligations
We may process or retain information when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or other lawful legal process.
### Consent
Where we specifically ask for your consent to process information for an optional purpose, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
## How Your Data Is Transmitted and Hosted
Flipbook's primary application server is self-hosted on infrastructure located in **New Jersey, United States**.
When Flipbook communicates with the server, requests are routed through **Cloudflare** before reaching the Flipbook server.
Cloudflare provides network infrastructure and security services, including Cloudflare Tunnel. Cloudflare Tunnel allows the Flipbook server to establish an encrypted outbound connection to Cloudflare rather than exposing the server directly to the public Internet.
Application traffic is transmitted using encrypted connections.
Because Cloudflare operates a global network, network requests and associated technical information may be processed by Cloudflare infrastructure outside New Jersey and potentially outside your country of residence.
Cloudflare may process information such as:
- IP addresses
- Network and routing information
- Request metadata
- Information transmitted through Cloudflare's network as necessary to provide its services
Cloudflare acts as a service provider or data processor for certain information transmitted on behalf of its customers.
You can learn more about Cloudflare's data practices in Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy.
## International Data Transfers
Flipbook's primary server is located in the United States.
If you access Flipbook from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction outside the United States, your personal information may therefore be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Additionally, because Cloudflare operates an international network, information transmitted through Cloudflare may be processed in other countries as part of providing its network and security services.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we and our service providers use legally recognized transfer mechanisms or other appropriate safeguards where required.
## Local Storage
Flipbook may store certain information locally on your device, including:
- Authentication-related information
- Application preferences
- Music or music-related data
- Other information necessary for offline or local application functionality
Local information is protected by the security mechanisms provided by your device and operating system.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including preventing unauthorized physical access.
Deleting your Flipbook account may not automatically remove every file or piece of application data stored locally on your device. Local data may also be removed by uninstalling Flipbook or clearing the application's stored data using your device's operating-system controls.
## Server Storage
Our server may store:
- Your username and account information
- Authentication information
- Music and related application data
- Information necessary to associate your data with your account
- Limited technical or security information necessary to operate the service
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect this information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.
Network communications between Flipbook and our server are protected using encrypted transport. Requests pass through Cloudflare's network before reaching our self-hosted server through Cloudflare Tunnel.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can provide absolute security, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
## Data Retention
We generally retain account information, music data, and related application data for as long as your Flipbook account remains active or as long as necessary to provide the service.
Technical and security information may be retained for a shorter period where reasonably necessary to:
- Diagnose technical problems
- Protect the service from abuse
- Investigate security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not intentionally retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Some information may temporarily remain in backups or system records after deletion until those records are overwritten or expire according to normal backup and system-maintenance processes.
## Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Flipbook account and associated server-side personal information at any time.
You may do this by:
- Using the account deletion feature within Flipbook; or
- Emailing **abrabetterrunning@gmail.com**
When an account is deleted, information associated with that account will be removed from our active systems, subject to limited exceptions where information must temporarily remain in backups, security records, or where retention is required by law.
Deletion is generally irreversible, and deleted account information may not be recoverable.
Information stored locally on your device may need to be removed separately by uninstalling Flipbook or clearing the app's local data.
## Service Providers
We use third parties only where necessary to operate or support Flipbook.
### Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare for network routing, encrypted tunneling, availability, and security services.
As a result, communications between your device and our server pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure.
Cloudflare may process network traffic and related information as necessary to provide those services.
We do not authorize service providers to use information processed on our behalf for unrelated purposes.
If we add service providers that materially change how your personal information is handled, we may update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
## Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide you with rights concerning your personal information.
You may contact us at **abrabetterrunning@gmail.com** to exercise applicable privacy rights.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Flipbook, please contact us at:
**abrabetterrunning@gmail.com**
If we become aware that we have knowingly collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Additional age or parental-consent requirements may apply in certain jurisdictions.
## Data Security and Breach Notification
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information stored by Flipbook and transmitted between the application and our server.
These measures include encrypted network communications and limiting direct exposure of the application server to the public Internet through the use of Cloudflare Tunnel.
No security system is completely immune from compromise.
If we become aware of a personal-data breach for which applicable law requires notification, we will provide notifications to affected individuals and/or appropriate authorities as required by law.
