Japanese Calligraphy 『SHODO』 Class in Mishima

At calligraphy class, you can learn about the Japanese mindset and Japanese language through calligraphy.

Calligraphy practive is always a quiet time to relax and look at your inner self.

Lessons for families are also availabe.

All students are welcome, even those without Japense language skills.

Lesson Fee

Preschooler (Age 3~6) 3,500yen

Family (1 Preschooler + 1 Parent) 5,000yen

Elementaly School Child (Age 6~12) 4,500yen

Family (1 E.S. Child + 1 Parent) 6,000yen

Adulst (age 13+) 5,000yen

Japasense Calligraphy Experience for travelers

Let's try SHODO and expereicne real Japanese culture.

Try writing calligraphy on paper, SENSU (Japanese folding fan) or SHIKISHI (thick paper used for calligraphy) and create your own unique sourvenir.

Your teacher will instruct you in the basics of shodo, helping you to write words of your own.

All classes are held in English.
