HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?
The reason I started making prints was as a way of getting out of my head and into a practice of making. Many years later, it is the same reason that underlines what I do today. Paralysis by Analysis is something that can take hold in all practices in life. Therefore, it has been an important process for me to understand the printmaking workshop as a space for me to understand the stories I hear, the books I read, and the worlds I question as well as the worlds I want to build. When I was in college, I realised there is no bad print, maybe it needs another layer, another 10 layers or maybe it needs to become a book?
For this workshop I want you to respond to the question HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? in whatever way you like. The only rule is not to be precious! This workshop is based on turning everything upside now so bring anything you like.
As part of the FluxUs boxes project, Noelle Noonan, Lorraine Neeson and Robert Corrigan ran a series of large format Cyanotype workshops. The workshops were attended by students from the Print Contemporary Practice and Photography, Film, Video programmes.
