Workshop Porcelain Jewelry: BIRD EDITION

Yes! We’ll host a porcelain jewelry workshop again! During this workshop you will make bird pendants from porcelain. Porcelain is a very white and sturdy clay after firing.

Our goal will be to make a pretty set of two pendants for earrings and a pendant for a necklace. You will color and glaze your own work. After the workshop it will be fired and brought back to Studio Boter, most probably within the following week already.

You don’t need any experience with clay, but it will work in your favour if you’re okay working on tiny tiny projects.

Let’s have some fun with lino cutting! We’re going to keep it easy and accessible. My goal is to inspire you to keep going after this workshop. 

Lino printing is a technique where you cut your design into a block. By inking it you can print this design. It’s a fun craft where you play with negative space, the white of the paper and the black (or color) of the ink. It’s a very meditative activity, especially when you get the hang of it. And by the end of this workshop, you will! The fun part of this is you can print the design you’ve made over and over again. I will give you some tips on how to do this at home without buying fancy equipment. So..

In this workshop, you'll work with watercolor and various materials and explore playful techniques to bring your unique dream landscape to life.

No painting experience needed – whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, everyone is welcome!

Be inspired by colors, textures, and unexpected shapes – there are no limits, only possibilities.

Some family legacies have a coat of arms, visualizing their values and passed down since medieval times. Some people make their own families. Now is the time to DIY your own future legendary coat of arms. In this workshop you'll screenprint a banner on fabric and decorate it with patches, beads, ribbons, etc to make your own banner that you can either hang on a wall or take with you into battle - on the dance floor and beyond.

Wil je op een bijzondere locatie een bijzonder schets- of opschrijfboekje leren binden? En gebruikmaken van duurzame materialen?

De binding van deze avond is de cahiersteek en we gaan boekjes maken met een inhoud van KHADI papier, dat is handgeschept katoenpapier uit India en is oersterk en heeft een mooie rustieke uitstraling.

Meer info over de materialen die je kunt gebruiken voor het omslag volgt!

Al het gereedschap dat je nodig hebt voor het boekbinden is aanwezig. En er is thee met wat lekkers erbij.
