Tijdens deze boekbindworkshop werk je met circulair materiaal. Trudie biedt elke maand een andere boekbindtechniek aan. Deze maand is dat Japans boekbinden.

Met papier van oude FLOW Magazines of andere tijdschriften maak je zelf een uniek en persoonlijk omslag voor je boekje. Je mag ook een tijdschrift, atlas, folder, affiche of ander oud papier meenemen, ter plekke kijken we hoe je het kunt toepassen.

Voor de vulling van je boekje neem ik verschillende setjes duurzaam papier mee waaronder bermgras- en tulpenbollenpapier en natuurlijk verschillende mooie kleuren linnen boekbindgaren. Al het gereedschap dat je nodig hebt voor het boekbinden is verder ook aanwezig. En er is thee met wat lekkers erbij.

Aanmelden voor deze workshop kan door een mailtje te sturen naar Trudie via mail@bijzondereboekjes.nl met vermelding van naam, telefoonnummer, met hoeveel personen je mee wilt doen en op welke datum. Maximaal aantal deelnemers: 6 personen.

Birdwatchers opgelet! Tijdens deze workshop maak je je eigen vogel van klei – een unieke decoratie voor in de tuin of in huis. Van huismus tot paradijsvogel: jij bepaalt hoe bont je het wil maken! Je gaat aan de slag met klei, kleur en vorm op een manier die voor iedereen toegankelijk is. Geen ervaring nodig.

Wat gaan we doen?

Tijdens de workshop creëer je stap voor stap jouw eigen keramische vogel:
- Je modelleert een vogel lijfje vanuit een eenvoudige basisvorm. Daarbij pas je een techniek toe die pottenbakkers gebruiken om ‘oren te trekken’.
- Je boetseert en monteert lichaamsdelen, waarmee je jouw vogel helemaal uniek maakt.

- Je beschildert en decoreert jouw vogel met engobes (gekleurde kleislib). Je kunt daarbij ook experimenteren met stempel- en sgraffito technieken.

Je werkstuk blijft nog even achter om te drogen en afgewerkt te worden. Na afloop wordt jouw werkstuk:
● door mij voorzien van een transparante glazuurlaag,
● twee keer gestookt,
● op basis van jouw keuze op staaf of houtblok gemonteerd,
Na 4–6 weken is jouw vogel klaar. Je werkstuk wordt zorgvuldig ingepakt en klaargezet om op te halen op de workshoplocatie. Je ontvangt een berichtje wanneer die klaar staat.

Learn how to make your own unique macramé jewelry by wrapping a beautiful stone with basic macramé knots!

Join me for a cozy and creative evening where we’ll explore the art of macramé jewelry making. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll have a small review of the basic macramé knots and then learn to use some of them to wrap a stone, turning it into a beautiful pendant or charm.

No needles are needed, macramé is made only with your fingers, cords, and creativity.
I’ll provide wax cords in different colors, stones, scissors, rulers, clips, and a pdf worksheet with the basic knots so you can continue practicing at home.

Whether you finish your piece during the workshop or prefer to take it home to complete, you’ll leave with new skills and plenty of inspiration for future creations.

Step into a world of flowing inks and delicate lines.

In this workshop, you will explore working with different types of ink to create rich, layered backgrounds. You’ll learn how to build depth using contrast, combining dark, atmospheric tones with light, expressive floral drawings.

After creating your background, you’ll be guided in drawing flowers on top, using simple techniques to observe and translate shapes in a loose and intuitive way.

You are free to choose your own colors, your own flowers, and follow your own feeling throughout the process.

No experience needed, this workshop is about exploring, experimenting and creating something that feels like you.

In deze workshop gaan we aan de slag met porselein. Porselein is een fijne witte kleisoort, die, eenmaal gebakken, zeer hard is en zich daarom goed leent voor kleine gedetailleerde objecten zoals sieraden. We focussen ons op hangers, welke je kunt gebruiken voor een ketting of voor oorbellen. Met deze keer de focus op.... Vogels! Je kunt tot een stuk of 5 hangers maken, afhankelijk van je ontwerp. Deze workshop is geschikt voor zowel beginners als gevorderden. Iedereen kan op zijn eigen niveau aan de slag. Het kleuren en glazuren doen we ook meteen. Na afloop laat je je werk achter, zodat het gebakken kan worden. 1 a 2 weken later kun je het resultaat bewonderen en ophalen bij Studio Boter. Tegen vergoeding kunnen we het ook naar je opsturen.

De workshop is natuurlijk inclusief porselein, glazuren en rvs-oogjes. Eventueel bij te kopen zijn sterling zilveren oorringetjes, kettinkjes ed.

Learn punch-needling basics while creating your own tiny mask inspired by Romanian folklore that can scare away bad spirits, invite good fortune, or just look delightfully weird. 👹✨

Your mask might be a cat, a goat, a funky creature or a familiar face. That's totally up to you! Once finished, it can become a wall-hanging or even a wearable pin to guard you or a loved one throughout the year. 

No experience needed, just bring your imagination (and your glasses!). At the end we’ll glue the masks with liquid latex, so expect a slightly ammonia-like smell in the studio for a short while. It's not harmful, just not the best smell out there.

All materials are provided, plus snacks and tea to keep us fueled.

Learn how to embroider and create your own design with needle and thread!

Would you like to learn how to embroider? Then this workshop is perfect for you! During the evening, I will teach you the basics of ‘free embroidery’. No experience is needed—everyone can join! You will learn how to transfer a pattern onto fabric, use different embroidery stitches, and start and finish your work neatly. I will also show you how to refine and complete your piece. All materials, including fabric and embroidery thread, will be provided, along with inspiring examples and patterns. Would you like to embroider your own clothing? That’s possible! Feel free to bring a T-shirt, blouse, or pair of trousers. If you use reading glasses, make sure to bring them along.

At the end of the evening, you will take your embroidery piece home along with enough thread to finish it later if needed. Want to join?
