Early Bloom (3 - 4 years old):
Our Early Bloom Art Programme is curated for young children to explore art-making as an experience by establishing a sensorial praxis in their learning journey. Through this programme, our students are able to work on their gross and finer motor skills which is essential to art-making and their daily lives. This programme entails drawing and painting, exploring everyday subject matters to better shape their sense of the world and introducing and developing their fundamental knowledge of shapes, lines and colours.
Pre-Primary (5 - 6 years old):
Our Pre-Primary Programme acts a bridge to the Primary Art programme. Through this programme, our student will learn the basic Design Principles and develop their understanding of various subject matters to help them create interesting narration through art-making. This programme entails drawing and painting, sculpture projects and many more.
Primary Art (7 - 12 years old):
Our Primary Art focuses on the foundational knowledge of art-making such as scale and proportion, perspective drawing, Design Principles and medium exploration. Through this course, the child is able to understand composition planning, different colour schemes, 3-Dimensional drawings and visualisation, colour mixing and blending, basic knowledge of famous artists and so on.
Lower Secondary Art (13 - 14 years old):
Our Lower Secondary Art programme enhances the child's story-telling skills through image making and introduced intermediate level tools and skills. Each child should be equipped with sufficient knowledge to move on to our Upper Secondary Art course after this course. The programme entails drawing using unconventional materials, portraiture and still life realism drawings and paintings, stylistic artworks, knowledge of different art expressions and more. During this programme, our students should also learn the discipline of and artist and his/her praxis such as meeting timelines, sketchbooking and note-taking, thematic response and so on.
Upper Secondary Art (15 - 17 years old):
This programme aims to prepare our students for their 'N','O','A' levels and IB examinations. Our students will be guided closely through their technical finesse and artistic concepts. The lessons will cover different stylistic expressions, medium exploration and development of application of their skills and knowledge.
Adult Art (18 years old +):
In this Adult Art course, students will learn the fundamental skills of oil and acrylic painting, charcoal and pastels drawing, pencil drawing, pen drawing, sculpture making, unconventional mediums in art making and so on. This course is open to students of all skill levels. Each lesson is tailored to fit the pace of each student.
Portfolio Course (10 - 12 years old):
Our portfolio course is meant for children who are thinking to apply to their respective secondary schools through Direct-School Admission (DSA). This course will prepare them for their DSA submission, the required portfolio, interview run-throughs and more. During the course, the child is to understand the discipline of artist praxis, fundamental art knowledge and technical skills, presenting their works in front of a panel, and be equipped with the tools and knowledge of coping and moving to secondary level art.
This course will also include extra workshops during their school holiday periods to better develop their skills and refine their portfolio.
Sculpture Course (7 - 17 years old):
Our Sculpture Programme will cover 3-Dimensional drawings and form shaping. The students are able to understand sculpting techniques (shaping, structure formations, relief sculpture, etc), detailing work using various tools, so on and so forth. Through this programme, our students are able to learn the characteristics of clay, paper and other forms of sculpture as well as understand artwork placement, composition and many more.
Drawing Fundamentals (7 - 13 years old):
Drawing is fundamental in art-making. This programme emphasises on drawing techniques and theories (scale and proportion, line sensitivity, shading techniques, etc). Students are able to understand tonal values created by pencil and pen, characteristics of charcoal and pastel, and so on.
Post-PSLE (12 years old):
In this short course, students are able to get a glimpse of secondary level art and develop their understanding of local and international artist through history and stylistic works.
Post-Secondary (16/17 years old):
In this short course, students are able to get a glimpse of tertiary level art. They will understand more advanced concepts of art-making such as installation art, unconventional art-making techniques, time-based artworks and so on.
