Hello! This is my 8th year teaching and 7th year at The Branch. I absolutely love my job, I get to make awesome art with some amazing students! 

I am committed to making my classroom a community that promotes a culture of inclusion in which all feel valued, respected, and supported to preform to their full potential.

My alma mater is the University of West Georgia (Go Wolves!!!) where I received a BFA in Art Education. I love working with all types of media, however my personal preference as an artist is ceramics. I love to “get my hands dirty!” I also consider myself an amateur photographer and usually tote around my camera everywhere I go. I am a dedicated educator of young artists and I truly believe that there is no better subject to teach. Art is my passion and I consider myself very lucky to be able to share my passion with my students. I am a walking encyclopedia when it comes to art materials and processes. When I am not teaching or creating art, I like to be outdoors hiking and camping whenever possible.
