How long will it take to get my pictures back from you?
It could take from one to two weeks for you to get all of your pictures back. Since photography is not my full-time job I need to balance my normal 7-3 job with my side hustle. I will always edit at least two pictures the day of the shoot to send you as a preview of what is to come! Depending on how many pictures you choose will depend on if it is a one week turnaround or a two week turnaround.
if i'm more than 30 miles one way, can i still book you?
Unfortunately no. There are two reasons for this: one, I feel like I would be taking away business in your area from other photographers and two, gas prices are super high and hard on everyone!
If I cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, can I reschedule?
100% yes! I understand that life happens and if you want to rebook your session with me for a different date and time, I will keep the existing deposit so it reserves the appointment time even if it is less than 48 hours until shoot time. If you choose not to reschdeule with me and it is before 48 hours, you will receive your deposit back. If it is less than 48 hours and you choose not to rebook with me, I will keep the deposit.
Why can't I have your username for payment until we actually book?
This is for my privacy and so I know where to look for the deposit! If I get a random deposit from someone then I don't know what it is for, the session date, or any information I need to make sure the process runs smoothly.
Can I bring ideas of what I want to do to the shoot?
ab-so-lute-ly! This is your shoot. I of course will bring ideas and get your input on what you want to do. the more detail you put into filling out the Google Form, the better I can make your dreams and ideas a reality!
If I do makeup with you, when do I need to be at the shoot site?
if you choose to have me do your makeup, we will need to meet at either the site for the shoot or a mutual, public area around 45 minutes before we start snapping pictures. This gives me time to get your makeup done and a nice chance to get to know who I'm takng picures of and for you to ask me questions!
What does it mean to be responsible for my own face makeup?
what that means is you are responsible for foundation, concealer, setting powder, and mascara! You know your skintone best and what products work for you. Mascara is for sanitary reasons! I will provide everything else that you need includng false lashes.
