Student Reform Group ( SRG) is a student led organization related to University of Delhi that was founded back in 2014  by Ashu Bidhuri (presently Advocate) and Kuldeep Kumar. Hailing from Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, which was far from any kind of student activism lacking student unions, where SRG took an initiative taking up voice for student rights and after long struggle and continous efforts of our founders, SRG eventually succeeded in affiliating Bhaskaracharya College with DUSU elections in 2016. It was then expanded to Sri Venkateswara College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Deen Dyal Upadhyay College, Deshbhandu College, Motilal Nehru College, Ramanujan College etc. also succeeding in winning it's First Student Union Elections at Deshbhandu College on the post of CC and continuing this streak for next three years (2016-2018), alongwith forming first student union of Bhaskaracharya College in 2017 by clean sweeping & winning all the seats. From giving a kick-start with a small team SRG eventually expanded to most pof the colleges of Delhi University spreading the idea of Social reforms and Student Activism raising voice for Student Rights. Now in 2026 SRG has given fresh start with all new look & team but carrying forward the same legacy and idea to bring social reforms & fighting for rights & equality with the ideas of activism, women empowerment etc.

• Demanding 50% Reservation for Girls in DUSU

• Fight for demanding abolishment for 1 lakh anti-defacement bond for fighting DUSU elections: During 2025 DUSU elections, UOD demanded anti-defacement bond of 1 lakh for fighting DUSU elections that eventually gave right to fight to few of those rich students, restricting a middle-class and a student from EWS to use this right. Against this our Delhi State Coordinator Shivansh Kalia (as petitioner) & our founder Adv. Ashu Bidhuri ( as Counsel for Petitioner) filed a case against this anti-student demand of university, to which Delhi HC ordered UOD to take back this demand making a huge win for us fighting for rights.

Student Reform Group is keen on working towards welfare of women and young girls. SRG women development cell completely and solely holds all the powers for taking best decisions in favor of women and coming up with new ideas and reforms shaping a society by empowering women.

SRG has always given representation to women from running the group to leading Student Union in Colleges. Following path of Women Empowerment, SRG has done some remarkable works previously and took key steps.

SRG played a major role in Rape Roko movement under DCW demanding safe and secure society for women.

• Demanding 50% Reservation for Girls in DUSU- SRG demanded equal & specifically 50% reservation for girls in DUSU elections to which SRG founder Adv. Ashu Bidhuri & Adv. Shabana Hussain filed case in High Court asking reservation for girls and also arranging seminars in colleges like Miranda House, Satyawati College demanding the same. High Court ordered Delhi University to consider it and university agrees on giving reservation to girls on rotational basis on various seats of DUSU making a huge win & proud moment for SRG.
