Student Focus is built with your privacy in mind. This app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
Student Focus stores the following information only on your device, using your phone's local app storage (AsyncStorage):
- Your preferences — daily goal, work and break durations, and the name you enter during onboarding.
- Your completed session history — used to show your progress dashboard and totals.
- Your streak state — consecutive-day count and its protections (freezes, rest days, grace period).
- Your saved task names — the list of tasks you reuse in Task mode.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server, is not backed up to any cloud service by us, and is not accessible to us or to any third party.
Student Focus does not connect to the internet. The app has no networking capability — it makes no network requests, loads no remote content, and does not require an internet connection to function.
We do not share any data with third parties. Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose.
Student Focus does not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or usage statistics. No analytics or advertising SDKs are included in the app.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, it remains only for as long as you keep the app installed. You can delete everything at any time by clearing the app's storage or by uninstalling the app.
Student Focus is intended for general student use. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If the app ever changes to include any form of data collection, networking, or analytics, this policy will be updated to reflect that change before it takes effect.
