Ali was a two sport athlete at Hastings where he played football and basketball. Marpets freshman year he played offensive line weighing in at 160 pounds. After his freshman year, he decided to stop playing football to focus on basketball where he earned All-League honors twice. Marpet rejoined the football team as a junior, when he finished his football career at Hastings he was named second team All-State, All-Section, and a two time All-League selection. Marpet also lead Hastings to the section finals in 2010.
After high school, he attended Hobart College where he played all four years, three of the years as the starting left tackle. In 2012 he was named to All-Liberty first team, D3football.com All-East second team. In 2013 he was named Captain of the team and Lindy's Preseason All-American first team. After the season, he was named All-Liberty League first team, Liberty League All-Academic, North All-Star second team, and won the Tryon Football Award, which goes to the best lineman. In his final college season, he was named Team Captain and Lindy's Preseason All-American first team again, D3football.com Preseason All-American second team.
After college Marpet attended the 2015 Senior Bowl where he was called the biggest riser and included him on its All-Offense Team. He was drafted in the 2015 NFL Draft with the 61st overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he made history becoming the highest drafted pick in DivisionIII football. Marpet got better each year and by his forth year, 2018, he was voted a Team Captain by his fellow players. In the 2020 season, Marpet played and was a crucial part to the Bucs offensive line helping them make a playoff run resulting in winning the Super Bowl. In 2021 Marpets last season in the NFL he was voted into his first Pro Bowl Team.
Melannie Daley Class of 2021
Melannie started on the Varsity Girls Basketball team as a freshman up until she graduated as a senior. As a freshman, she helped lead Hastings to a playoff game against Irvington where they were defeated. This season she was also named to the All-Conference team, leading Hastings in points and assists. As a Sophomore she was once again named to the All- League, All-Conference, All-Section, and was named to the All-State 8th team. In her Junior year, she lead Hastings to the County Center Semi Final Playoff loss. Again, Melannie was named to the All-League, All-Conference, All-Section, and All-State 3rd team, averaging 19 points per game, also leading her team to an undefeated league championship . In her senior year, the basketball season was put on pause for a short time due to COVID19. When it started back up, no fans were allowed to attend the games and the regular season and the playoffs looked much different. However, with all of that going on, she was able to help bring a Section Championship to Hastings during this difficult season.
After high school, Melannie went to Northwestern University to continue playing basketball. In her first season she averaged 6.5 points shooting .41% and 1.6 assist per games averaging 16 minutes per game and starting in 9 games. In her sophomore season, she only was available for 9 gamesm averaging 4.6 points per game and getting just over 5 minutes a game. In her Junior year, she started the season with her career high 25 points and 2 assists. She followed up in the next game with 21 points and 2 assist. Melannie started in 19 out of the 30 games she played, averaging 27 minutes per game, scoring 13.3 points per game, while shooting a very efficient .494% from the field with 2.3 assist per game also grabbing 2.7 rebounds per game.

Robert Kennedy Class of 2023
Robert started playing football in high school as a sophomore and came right into it as a starting quarterback. in his first season as the starting quarterback Robert lead the team to a Bowl game appearance
Oscar Pereira Class of 2017
Oscar joined the Hastings Soccer Team in his senior season due to playing club soccer for the other three years in high school. During his first season, Oscar's helped bring home the first ever State Championship to Hastings. Oscar scored 1 of 3 goals in the 3-1 victory. Even though he only played one year, he was able to get just about every award you could think of, All- League, All-Conference, All-Section, All-State, Con Edison Athlete of the Week, and Class B MVP.
After high school, Oscar went to Army to continue playing soccer. In his freshman season, he appeared in all 20 games, while making the most starts by any other freshman in 2018 with 18 starts. He tallied 2 points and 2 assists in the year, with one of the assist leading to the game winning goal at Loyola in the Patriot League Tournament Semifinal. This sent Army into the championship for the first time since 1996. In his sophomore season, he saw action in all 16 matches while making 14 starts, recording 6 points on 3 goals, with one of the goals being a game winning in the 100th minute of a 2-1 overtime victory versus Siena. He also recorded his first multi goal outing with two scores in a 6-1 win against Holy Cross. He finished his Sophomore year raked second on the team in goals and tied for second in points. In his Junior year, Oscar was named to the Patriots Leagues All-Conference Second Team. He played in all seven matches for Army making six starts, leading the team in goals (4) assist(3) and points (11). He also recorded a goal and an assist against Navy to lead Army to the Arm-Navy Cup victory. He finished his Junior year tied for second in the Patriot League in goals. In his Senior season he was named First Team All Patriot League selection, named to the Patriot League All Tournament Team, elected to the United Soccer Coaches All Atlantic Region Second Team, voted to the 2021 Preseason All Patriot League Team, twice named Patriot League Weekly Award Winner, Claimed the Offensive Player of the Week, and earned the Patriot Leagues Midfielder of the Week. Oscar logged 1,281 minues on the pitch averaging 70 minutes per game. His 20 points this season was a career high, most on the team, and fifth most in the Patriot League. Also was second in winning goals with three, fifth in goals with 7, and assist with 6. Oscar recorded another game winner in the teams Patriot League Quarterfinal victory. Then logged 90 minutes on the pitch and helped with the shutout effort against top seeded Loyola in the Patriot League Semifinals. Oscar finished his Career starting in 55 out of 61 games played, scoring 14 goals, 11 assists and getting 39 points and 5 game winning goals in his career at Army.

Tara was a 3 sport athlete at Hastings in swimming, basketball, and softball. In swimming she held 9 our of the 11 Hastings all time swimming records when she graduated. Tara made varsity swim as a 7th grader and qualified for NYS swim championship 5 times in her career. In basketball Tara became Hastings all time leading scorer with 1,305, She also set the record for points in a season with 519. In softball she batted cleanup throughout her career and led the team in home runs and RBIs all four seasons playing both infield and outfield. Tara choose to play Basketball at Fairfield university where she played 118 games and shot 48% in her career which is still top 10 in Fairfield history. After college Tara played professional basketball in Croatia leading the team in points(25.2) and rebounds(12.1) . She then finished her career playing one more season in Heidelberg, Germany where she again lead her team in points(23.6) and rebounds(11.2)

Josh Thigpen Class of 2022
Josh started his varsity career in his freshman year , where he started more then half his games. Josh was a top scorer for the varsity team even as a freshman. In his freshman year the team went 17-5 good enough to win the league for the first time in over 15 years. The season ended with a lost in the quarterfinal to rival Dobbs ferry in a close game, Josh was a key player in this game and. The team was on a consistent rise to success improving each year with many key players coming back. This showed in josh's sophomore year where the team went 18-2. where Josh was the leading scorer which helped Hastings land the 1 seed in class B. This was good enough for all section honors and all conference honors for Josh just as a Sophomore. After the stellar regular season for Josh and Hastings he helped lead them to a County Center trip something that doesn't come around a lot for schools. Josh lead Hastings in scoring throughout the playoffs pushing them over the top winning the section championship first time in 21 years. Josh was named most outstanding player of the section playoffs. Hastings would only play one more game however one in which they won in late comeback but the season getting cut short due to COVID-19. Josh's junior season was entirely effected by COVID-19 once again ending their season in just 5 games. In 2022 Josh's senior season he showed up playing as one of the best players in Westchester. Josh would lead a young Hastings team to a quarterfinal game where they would just fall short. At the end Josh's season he became the 10th member of Hastings boys basketball 1000 point scorers.
After high school Josh decided to go to Suny Owsego to continue playing basketball. In his first season he played in 7 games where he scored a total of 14 point, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. While also shooting .438% on the year.

Jackson, started playing varsity as a junior, in that first year Jackson and the yellow jackets won their league, and won the section final game advancing to the state final four in his first season. Jackson finished the season with all league honors and all section honorable mention. In 2016 Jackson's senior season he got better and so did the team, They won their league with a 19-1-1 record ending their season on a 15 game win streak. They won the section final game which made it back to back years then advancing past the State final four making it to the State championship with a chance to win Hastings first ever state championship. In the biggest game of his life at that point Jackson opened the game up with a goal in the 20th minute, he added another one later in the game to secure the game, and the player of the game.
After college Jackson attended Colorado college to play soccer. In his freshman season he appeared in 10 games logged 225 minutes and logged his first goal in one of the first games he played which happened to be the game winning goal. His sophomore year he started 18 of the 19 games finished with 1,354 minutes played, and ranked fourth on the team with three goals, and fourth on his tea with 2 assist. One of the assist lead to a deciding goal in a 2-1 win over Johnson & wales university. 2019 Jackson's junior season he played in all 21 games including 18 as a starter. he finished this season with four goals, and four assists, and got 12 points in the season all of which were career highs for him. In his senior and final season the team only played 10 games due to COVID-19 in which Jackson played in all 10, starting in 8. He ranked second in his conference with five assist in only 10 games and was tied for fifth in the conference with nine points while adding two goals to his season. This was all good enough for hi to make his First-team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selection. Jackson is also one of 132 Colorado college student-athlete who earned a spot on the Southern Collegiate Athletic conference Academic Honor Roll all four years.
