Mission Statement:
The Women’s Ministry of STTCC exists to encourage, equip, and empower women to grow in their relationship with Christ, build meaningful connections with one another, and serve their families, church, and community with love and purpose. Through prayer, study, fellowship, and outreach, we aim to cultivate a Christ-centered community where every woman feels seen, supported, and called into God’s greater mission.
A vibrant women’s ministry can be a cornerstone for growth and spiritual depth in a small church. It provides a unique space where women of all ages can come together for encouragement, discipleship, and service. In a smaller congregation, this ministry has the added advantage of creating close-knit relationships that foster accountability and personal growth. Whether through Bible studies, prayer groups, or fellowship events, women’s ministry offers a way for individuals to feel seen, heard, and valued — a key ingredient in helping a church grow not just in number, but in depth of faith and unity.
For a small church, starting or revitalizing a women’s ministry doesn’t require a big budget — just a big heart and a clear purpose. Begin with simple gatherings like a monthly coffee morning or a short devotional series, and invite women to share their stories and spiritual gifts. As relationships deepen, opportunities for outreach naturally arise. Women who feel connected and equipped often become some of the church’s most passionate ambassadors, drawing others in through their warmth and authenticity. When women are empowered to lead, serve, and support one another, the whole church benefits — and grows stronger together!
Smalls Events we have and outreach opportunities!
Monthly Coffee & Conversation
A casual, low-pressure gathering where women can connect over coffee and share life updates, prayer requests, and encouragement. This is especially welcoming for newcomers.
Bible Study Series
Host a short-term study (4–6 weeks) on topics like identity in Christ, women of the Bible, or spiritual disciplines. Keep it discussion-based to foster connection.
Prayer Walks or Prayer Nights
Organize a group walk around your neighborhood or host an evening of focused prayer for families, the church, and the community.
Testimony Night
Create space for women in your church to share their personal stories of faith. It builds trust, encourages others, and can powerfully draw in guests.
Service Projects
Partner with local shelters, schools, or food banks to serve together. Outreach not only blesses others but helps build purpose and unity among women.
Mentorship Pairings
Connect older and younger women for one-on-one discipleship or friendship. In a small church, this builds intergenerational strength and stability.
