The St. Theresa Guild is a women’s organization of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. The Guild focuses on service to our church and community, spiritual growth, and fun and fellowship for its members.
Since 1926, the St. Theresa Guild, following the philosophy of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our patron saint, has provided much by doing many “little things:" purchasing or providing monetary support for such things as the stained glass window of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Baptismal font, altar linens, priests’ vestments and chalices, the vigil light candle stand, crosses for newly baptized babies, and the cantor stand; supporting community agencies like Birthright, Catholic Social Services, Hospice, the Salvation Army, and the Food Bank; hosting the First Holy Communion and Confirmation receptions; and assisting the Funeral Reception ministry. Meetings bring us together to learn, to work on projects, to socialize, and to celebrate.
Meetings are usually scheduled at 6:30 pm, the 3rd Monday of each month, from September through May, in the Bishop Begley Parish Center (BBPC). Occasionally we meet during the day at other locations. All ladies of the parish are cordially invited to attend any of our meetings. See the bulletin or the Events Page for current meeting information.
