Social event (September 9, 2026): passeggiata romana 

A social event takes place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the afternoon. Participants leave together from the conference venue at 14:30 and walk to the nearby Metro B/B1 station Policlinico. From there, the group takes the metro towards Laurentina and gets off at Colosseo. Starting from the Colosseum area, participants enjoy an informal passeggiata romana through some of the most iconic places in the historic centre of Rome. The proposed route includes Via dei Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. The walk is expected to finish around 18:00, depending on the pace of the group. 

Please note that this activity is intended as a relaxed walk through the city rather than a guided tour. It is an opportunity for participants to spend time together and enjoy Rome in an informal atmosphere. Further practical details are announced during the workshop.
