2024 camp PACKING LIST

Please LABEL every item, including your bags, clothes, sleeping bag, and pillow, etc. with camper’s name or initials.  Each child is responsible for packing, carrying and keeping track of all of their own personal gear.

Keep in mind: 

• This is CAMPING!  Wear/bring old clothing and be prepared for bugs, spiders, mud, dirt, campfires.  The cabins are rustic (no a/c), as are the restroom facilities. 

• Camp Y Noah & the chaperones are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.  Items left at camp more than a week will be donated to Goodwill.

LIST:

▢    Shoes for hiking/outdoor activities that will get muddy (old sneakers/boots)

▢    Extra pair of closed toe shoes

▢    Slides/flip flops/Crocs for shower/cabin use only (NOT for outdoor activities)

▢    Socks- 5 

▢    Undergarments

▢    T-Shirts/Tops- 4  (school appropriate) 

▢    Shorts- 4 

▢    Pants/Jeans (required if horseback riding)

▢    Long-sleeved shirt/Sweatshirt- 1-2 (campers will receive sweatshirt)

▢    PJs

▢    Weather appropriate outerwear (jacket, hat, gloves, etc.)

▢    2 Towels- 1 for shower, 1 for rain 

▢    Washcloth/Hand Towel

▢    Toiletries: toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner/, soap, face wash, feminine hygiene, etc 

(recommend storing in ziploc or small bag that can be transported easily to bathrooms)

▢    Bug Spray (Head Chaperone will also have)

▢    Sunscreen (Head Chaperone will also have)

▢    Hats/Sunglasses

▢    Flashlight/Head lamp

▢    Freshly laundered pillow, sleeping bag, and.or sheets/blankets (bunks have twin vinyl mattress).

▢    Water Bottle labeled w/name 

▢    Cards/Small portable games to play during free time (cards, uno, etc.)

▢    Money in labeled envelope (name/$ amt) for camp store

▢    Nut-free Snacks 

(snacks will be provided, but campers can also bring their own.  They MUST be stored in an airtight container)

**Cell phones may be brought to camp, but they are the responsibility of the student.
Chaperones and camp staff will not hold or carry cellphones during activities.  They are not responsible for any lost or stolen cell phones or electronics. Please note that cell phone service is not reliable at camp.

Do NOT bring anything valuable or any of the items listed below.
