The screen is blurry. Is my game broken?
No - that is the game. You are the designated driver and your eyesight is the difficulty curve. Every fare, the world gets a little harder to read. It is meant to be hard to see.
The game will not rotate to portrait.
That is intentional. Designated Driver is a landscape-only game, built for one-handed play with the phone turned sideways.
How do I turn off the ads?
The game is free and funded by advertising, so the banner cannot be removed. Rewarded video ads are always optional - you never have to watch one, and nothing is locked behind them.
It asked permission to track me. What happens if I say no?
Nothing changes in the game. You will still see ads, they simply will not be personalised. Every feature works the same either way. You can change your answer any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
I lost my progress.
Progress is saved on your device only. Deleting and reinstalling the game clears it, and it does not transfer between devices.
The game runs slowly on my device.
Turn on SHOW FPS in Options to see what your device is managing. Closing other apps helps. Let us know your device model if it is unplayable - that is useful to us.
