A letter from our Founder:
Greetings and thank you for visiting our page! I am Stephanie Geraghty, the founder of Stroller Warriors Running Club. I’d like to share a little about me and how Stroller Warriors grew out of my love for running and my experiences as a military spouse.
My story begins on a farm in Avoca, IA, where I was born and raised. I attended college at the University of Kansas, so I will always be a Midwest girl at heart. I met my husband Brian (also an avid runner and an Iowan) in 2000 and we were married in 2004. We have 3 children; Caden, Cole, and Hailey. Cole has Type 2/3 Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a neuromuscular disorder that causes muscle weakness and atrophy. He is unable to walk but nothing gets him down and he inspires me every single day! We spend a lot of time doing therapy with him and ensuring he has all the resources he needs to live a full quality of life. My family teams with the Stroller Warriors to raise money in Cole's honor for Families of SMA to support research for a cure. We know one day there WILL be a cure.
Sports have always been a passion of mine. I competed as a runner from a young age into my college years. After graduation, I pursued a new hobby of running road races, including marathons, half marathons, 10Ks, 5Ks, triathlons, and duathlons. Over the years, I have ran my way through the births of my three children, deployments, PCS moves, and just regular everyday life. Training and running races provide a positive source of focus and accomplishment, plus an effective outlet to balance the challenges military life presents. I believe that many problems can be solved and friendships can be nurtured just by heading out the door on a run.
I wanted others to experience these joys as well, so I came up with the idea to establish a free running club that would help alleviate stress for military spouses and their children, and provide a wealth of camaraderie, resources, and mutual support. The club would also supply a means to give back to our surrounding community.
With my husband's encouragement, on January 19, 2010, my dream became a reality and Stroller Warriors was born. I scouted out trails and parks appropriate for our needs and advertised through local media. We only had four people, including myself, at our first workout. Word continued to spread and Stroller Warriors has thrived ever since. Since that first workout we’ve grown by the thousands and we have added numerous new chapters around the world. I am so proud of each and every member and how they are ever focused on the team effort, tackling and overcoming goals and obstacles TOGETHER.
I want to take this opportunity to say that this all began with a small idea but it became a reality because of the loyalty, trust, and hard work of our membership and especially our chapter coordinators. They believe in our mission and they believe in each other. They (YOU) are the reason this is possible. So thank you for making a dream come true! I thank God every day for the blessings He bestows on us all through this club. I know that I have become a better person because of the people I've been fortunate to meet, the miracles I've witnessed, and the lessons I've learned. I'm truly proud to serve my military community through Stroller Warriors.
One more important thank you must go to my Marine. None of this would be without you, Brian. I love you!
Once again, thank you EVERYONE for your time and support! Be sure to "Like" our Stroller Warriors Running Club Facebook page so you can keep tabs on our awesome runners. Hope to see you out on the trail soon.
HAPPY RUNNING,
Stephanie Geraghty

Hello! I am Jessica Berlin, the current CEO of Stroller Warriors Running Club. I was born and raised in a small town in Southeast Alabama with my parents, sister and two brothers. I attended college at Auburn University and graduated with a Bachelors degree from Troy University. Upon graduation, I worked for Regions Bank in Birmingham, AL for many years before moving back to Enterprise for graduate school. It was during this time that I met my amazing husband, Craig. We have 2 children: Blake and Kaleb. Outside of running I enjoy spending time with my family and graphic designing.
My Stroller Warriors life began in 2015 with the Pearl Harbor Chapter. I jumped into the C25K program in January 2016 and never looked back. I volunteered as a B210K leader and helped lead month long challenges before moving to Texas in 2017. Payge B had just founded Stroller Warriors Elsewhere and I was so excited to have them to continue to hold me accountable to my goals. I became a Chapter Coordinator for SW Elsewhere in February 2018 where I enjoyed motivating Warriors around the World until our move to Maryland. I jumped right into being a part of Stroller Warriors Fort Meade after our move and became a coordinator in March 2021. I have been a part of the SW Headquarters team since 2022.
I consider myself a Stroller Warrior success story. Growing up I did not enjoy running. I was forced to run during PE, cheerleading, tennis and danceline. During college I started trying to like running. Stroller Warriors changed all of that for me and I now love running. I love the stress release it brings. I love the fast friendships I can make. I love to set goals and conquer them! Since joining Stroller Warriors, I have run 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, marathons, 50k, and attempted a 50 miler.
I now cannot imagine my life without running and without having Stroller Warriors as a BIG part! I have made so many amazing friends thanks to this organization and I cannot say enough about the wonderful members we have that volunteer their time around the world to help share the Stroller Warriors mission with others.
I am excited to help Stroller Warriors grow as we expand to bases around the globe helping more military spouses find their love of running and giving them a home away from home.
HAPPY RUNNING!

CEO
Hello! I am Kelly Mulder, the current CEO of Stroller Warriors Running Club. I am a native of NE Washington, DC where I grew up with my parents, five sisters and one brother. I attended college at James Madison University and graduate school at Marymount University. I worked for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Alexandria, VA for many years before my handsome Marine swept me away for a life full of adventure. I have the most amazing husband, Garrett, and we have 4 children: Nora, Asher, Tori, and Keegan. Outside of running I enjoy sewing, reading and strength training.
My Stroller Warriors life began in 2010 shortly after Stephanie Geraghty founded Stroller Warriors. I got to know Stephanie well at SW Camp Lejeune and she became my running mentor, confidant and friend. When I moved to Okinawa, Japan Stephanie let me take Stroller Warriors with me. I founded and Coordinated Stroller Warriors Okinawa for 3 years. Since then I have been a part of Stroller Warriors Monterey as a workout leader and founded Stroller Warriors Quantico. I have been a member of the SW Headquarters team since 2014. I also manage the Stroller Warrior blog.
I consider myself a Stroller Warrior success story. While I have always been an athlete, I used to abhor running. I purposely picked positions in the sports I played that had the least amount of running. I was the sweeper for soccer and the catcher for softball. My other big sports were swimming, tennis, and volleyball, which had little to no running. Stroller Warriors changed all of that for me and I now love running. I love the stress release it brings. I love the fast friendships I can make. I love to set goals and conquer them! Since joining Stroller Warriors I have ran my first 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon, 50k, and 50 miler.
Not only do I love running, I love my Stroller Warriors life! I have met the most amazing spouses through Stroller Warriors; spouses who continually motivate and inspire me. I know my life would be drastically different had I not met Stephanie Geraghty and become a part of Stroller Warriors. The world is a better place because of Stroller Warriors and I intend to help keep it that way!
Happy Running,
Kelly Mulder
