Ströhl Group @ UiT
Hi,
My name is Florian and I lead a small group of physicists to develop some of the world's most advanced microscopy systems. Find out more about our research topics that stretch from imaging in the ultra-violet regime for label-free nanoscopy to optical theory, nanoscopy for pathology, and light-sheet microscopy. But there is more! We have started the development of new optical elements for multifocus microscopy, designing computational approaches for image enhancements, and are setting up new microscopes for bio-spectroscopy (hyperspectral, Raman, Brillouin). Together with the UiT nanoscopy group we are also involved in the development of photonic chips, quantitative phase imaging, fluorescence fluctuation super-resolution microscopy, and much more.
Our research is made possible by grants from the European Union's Marie-Curie and ERC StG frameworks, the Norwegian Research Council's FRIRPO Young Program, and support from the Arctic University of Norway.
