Optical Systems @ UiT

Hi,

My name is Florian and I lead a small group of physicists to develop some of the world's most advanced microscopy systems. Find out more about our research topics that stretch from imaging in the ultra-violet regime for label-free nanoscopy  to optical theory, nanoscopy for pathology, and light-sheet microscopy. But there is more! We are very much intertwined with Balpreet Ahluwalia's Nanoscopy Group and Krishna Agarwal's Computational Microscopy group here at UiT. Visit their website for more information on photonic chip-based microscopy, quantitative phase imaging, fluorescence fluctuation super-resolution microscopy, and much more.

Our research is made possible by grants from the European Union's Horizon 2020 program, the Norwegian Research Council's FRIRPO Young Program, and generous support from the Arctic University of Norway.
