2. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We collect your phone number for authentication via Firebase.

Contacts: With your permission, we access your contact list to help you connect with other users. We do not store this data permanently; it is used only for matching.

Media: We access your camera, microphone, and gallery to enable video/audio calls and media sharing.
•
Location: We may collect your location if you choose to share it with other users in a chat.
•
Device Information: We collect device identifiers for notifications (FCM) and app stability (crash reports).
3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app services.

To authenticate users and secure accounts.

To enable communication features (calls, messages, status).

To improve app performance and fix bugs.

To send push notifications for calls and messages.
4. Child Safety and CSAE Policy (Strict Enforcement)
Strm has a zero-tolerance policy towards Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Prohibition: Any user found sharing, requesting, or promoting CSAM will be permanently banned.
•
In-App Reporting: Users must use the "Report" button available in Chat menus and Settings to submit concerns about illegal or harmful content.
•
Swift Action: We will remove illegal content immediately upon discovery or notification.
•
Legal Compliance: Confirmed cases of CSAM will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase for authentication, database management, and cloud storage. Their use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
We implement security measures like Firebase App Check and secure database rules to protect your data. Private chats can be further secured using our "Secret Vault" feature with biometric authentication.
7. Data Retention
Your chat messages and media are stored in Firebase until you delete them. Account data is retained until you delete your account through the app settings.
8. Account Deletion
You have the right to permanently delete your Strm account and all associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account:

Open the Strm app → Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
•
Confirm your decision.
•
Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted:
•
Your profile information (name, phone number, photo).
•
All chat history, media, status updates, and call logs.
•
Your location history and synced contacts.
What Does NOT Get Deleted:
•
Messages sent to other users may still appear in their own chat history.
•
Data we are legally required to keep.

9. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided data, we delete it immediately.
