The goal of this workshop is to build a bridge between the string theory and modified gravity communities. To date, the two branches have each developed substantially in their own directions. Both communities also aim to answer the same questions, searching for a theory that underlies the Universe. However, interaction between the two branches is not common. This workshop aims to connect the two communities through introductory and advanced lectures, numerous discussions, and collaborative sessions, ultimately with the goal of writing a paper String Theory & Modified Gravity: The Big Questions with the help of the workshop participants.
