Rust Editing Contest is a series of competitions for advanced editors and for new editors who have potential in this field of video editing. The purpose of the context is to assess the editing skills. This also comes with great exposure for potential winners.
COMPETITIONS
The first contest was in 2018. For every competition were provided 2 packs: a pack with pre-rendered Rust clips and a pack with Rust sounds. In some competitions were provided even demos for those who want to create their own cinematics.
For this type of contest the host will not be receiving any monetary benefits, but the winners will be rewarded. They will be chosen according to their creativity, content execution( clips cuts, story, content start, content ending, cinematics and others), VFX(visual effects), SFX( sound effects), flow( synchronization with music and other sound aspects). After the deadline, the result of the contest will be published and the winners will receive the prizes for this competition soon.
This contest will be crowdfunded, so if you wish to become a sponsor in order to increase the prize pool size, don’t hesitate to leave a message on discord server. Also if you want to support the upcoming contest, there is plenty of work to do with the demo recording part. The part in which you create fake action requires a lot of player interactions, and your help will be appreciated.
