Information we collect

Strike Guide AU may collect limited app analytics and diagnostic information to help improve app stability, performance, and user experience.

• app interactions, such as which features are opened or used

• crash logs and diagnostic information

• device and app performance information

• approximate technical information used by analytics or diagnostic services, such as app version, device type, operating system version, and device or app identifiers

Location

Strike Guide AU may request access to your device location so the app can help show nearby supported waters or location-based fishing guidance.

Location access is used for app functionality. Strike Guide AU does not share your current or precise physical location with other users.

You can choose not to use location and select waters manually instead.

Notebook and saved reads

Strike Guide AU includes Notebook, saved-read, saved-water, and Field Note features.

These entries are intended to be stored locally on your device unless you choose to share information yourself, such as by sending an email to support.

If you delete the app, clear app storage, change devices, or reset your device, locally stored app data may be lost.

Full Version purchases

Strike Guide AU offers a one-time Full Version unlock through Google Play Billing.

Purchases are processed by Google Play. Strike Guide AU may use purchase status information to unlock or restore Full Version features in the app.

Strike Guide AU does not directly collect or store your payment card details.

Weather and pressure lookups

Strike Guide AU may use external services to help estimate recent pressure or weather-related context for selected waters.

These lookups are used to support app functionality. They are not used to create a social profile or share your location with other users.

How we use information

Information is used to:

• operate app features

• provide nearby-water, pressure, and field-read functionality

• understand app stability and crashes

• improve the app experience

• diagnose bugs and performance issues

• manage Full Version purchase and restore status

• respond to support, feedback, privacy, or bug-report enquiries

Sharing of information

Strike Guide AU does not sell user data.

Limited analytics, diagnostic, billing, or app functionality data may be processed by third-party service providers used to operate analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, app distribution, purchases, or weather/pressure lookup features.

These providers process data to help operate, secure, improve, or deliver app functionality.

User-initiated emails

If you choose to contact support, send feedback, suggest a waterway, or report a bug by email, your email address and the information you include in the message will be visible to Strike Guide AU for the purpose of responding to your request and improving the app.

Data security

Strike Guide AU uses reasonable safeguards to protect information. Data transmitted by analytics, diagnostic, billing, or app functionality services is expected to be encrypted in transit.

Data retention and deletion

Analytics and diagnostic data may be retained for as long as needed to understand app performance, fix issues, and improve the app, or as required by the services used to process that data.

Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry and maintain support records.

Locally saved Notebook data remains on your device unless you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

Children

Strike Guide AU is not intended for children. The app is designed for older teenagers and adults who can make responsible decisions about fishing access, safety, weather, and local regulations.

Strike Guide AU does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
