This Privacy Policy describes how StrideKM ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Location Data
StrideKM uses your device's GPS location to calculate distance, speed, and route information during an active trip or challenge. Location access is only used while you are actively tracking a trip.

• Your location data is used solely on your device to calculate distance and speed.

• We do not transmit, upload, or store your location data on any server.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your location data with any third party.

Trip and Activity Data
Information such as distance covered, trip duration, average speed, calories burned, activity mode (Walking, Running, Bike, Car), and challenge targets is saved locally on your device only, using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

No Account Required
StrideKM does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email, or phone number to use the app.

2. Permissions We Use

Location permission use to track distance, speed, and route during a trip 

3. Data Storage and Security

All trip history, challenge data, and app settings are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This data is:

• Not backed up to any external server by the app itself

• Removed if you uninstall the app or use the app's "Reset Data" option

• Not accessible to us or any third party

4. Third-Party Services

StrideKM does not currently integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly to disclose any such services.

5. Children's Privacy

StrideKM does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require account creation and does not collect personal data beyond on-device trip tracking.

6. Your Choices

• You can disable location permission at any time via your device settings.

• You can delete all app data at any time using the "Reset Data" option in Settings.

• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
