I did my PhD thesis in the area of star formation and astrochemistry under the supervision of Dr. Carsten Kramer (Institut de Radioastronomie Millimétrique; IRAM, France) and Dr. Asunción Fuente (Observatorio Astronómico Nacional; OAN, Spain). The dissertation is entitled 'Chemical and dynamical study towards the UC HII region in Monoceros R2' and was defended in the University of Granada (Spain) in 2016. After that, I pursued a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Ciencias de los Materiales de Madrid (ICMM, Spain) in the Molecular Astrophysics group working with Dr. Javier Goicoechea. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Astronomy and Plasma Physics of the Chalmers University (Gothenburg, Sweden) within the PROMISE (PRobing the Origins of MassIve molecular cloud StructurE) group leaded by Dr. Jouni Kainulainen. Since I started this postdoc, I have focus on studying the dynamics and fragmentation of filamentary structures in the Milky Way.
