How many times leap year in 626 years?

In simple terms, we have to do the calculation, divide the year by 4 and if we are able to do divide it then that year is known as Leap Year ex. this running year is 2020 means 20 / 4 = 5 means result got = known as Leap Year. The next year 2021 means 21 / 4 = we can’t so not Leap Year. It means that the next Leap Year will come in 2024 means 24 / 4 =6 will call Leap Year.

Which year is a leap year?

➤In a simple way, we can say that after 3^rd Year, 4^this the year in that last leap of the earth to orbit around Sun & on this Leap Year, it will complete 366 days on 31^st December every 4^th year in place 365 (Every Year 0.25 +0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 =1.00; one day will add on 4^thYear as per calculation mentioned above).

➤ So, we can calculate in such a way and say the leap years come in between 2001 to 2100 are as below:

2004,2008,2012,2016,2020,2024,2028,2032,2036,2040,2044,2048,2052,2056,2060, 2064,2068,2072,2076,2080,2084,2088,2092,2096 = 24 nos. of Leap Year will come.

➤ As we know that 100 is not a leap year so➤ 100/4 - 1 = 25-1=24 years are leap years that come during 100years.

➤ So we can give the answer of- How many times do leap years come in 626 years?

The answer is as below:

a). Leap years come during 600 years = 24 X 6 = 144 + 1(because 400, 800,1200 etc. are a leap year - these years also evenly divisible by 400 is leap year) = 145 years.

b). Leap years come during 26 years = 4,8,12,16,20, & 24 = 6nos.

c). So, a total of 145+6=151 years are leap years come in 626 years.

➤ 1941 is not a leap year because it is not evenly divisible by 4 or 400.
