Meet Mason
Know Thyself!
A teacher approaches her student, "You have an F in the class, but I know you can still be quite successful."
Student puts his head down and draws out a mumble, "...I know, if I do all my work..."
Teacher says, "I actually think you will still be successful even if you don't do all your work."
Student lifts his head, wide-eyed, and perky with pride, "Thrively says that I am creative and social!"
Meet Savanah
Stay Student-Centered
Frequently, Savanah is not sure. Savanah is quiet, shy and unhappy. From grading to assessments, it may simply come down to Savanah not showing growth or experiencing growth.
However, the teacher take 30 seconds. Savanah, "I know you can make this better. Add some details. " Savanah approaches her teachers with the new details. Perfecto. Mission accomplished.
Next student who walks up with a paper sans the details, "Go see Savanah. She knows how to add the details."
