Technologies

For the most part, the technology of the planet is less advanced than Earth, probably equivalent to the 1920s in our world. Cars are rare, and so are phones [analog, cell & smartphones don't exist here]. The main form of communicating with others at a distance would be sending telegrams [if both live in the same city] or sending letters via caravan [if they live in different cities].

The inhabitants can wear modern outfits, but new clothing is hard to get, and most people only have a couple outfits.
