StreamBubbles Overlay for YouTube は、YouTube のライブチャットを動画プレイヤー上にオーバーレイ表示する Chrome 拡張機能です。
Nico / POP / Classic の 3つの表示テーマに対応しており、YouTube ライブ配信やライブチャット付きアーカイブのコメントを、動画を見ながら確認しやすくします。

A. 本拡張は、YouTube のライブ配信ページおよびライブチャット付きのアーカイブページで動作します。
主な対象ドメインは https://www.youtube.com/ です。
A. 次の 2 か所から開けます。

YouTube プレイヤー右下に表示されるアイコン
プレイヤー右下のアイコンからは、インラインメニューを開いて、視聴中に素早く設定を変更できます。
A. 次の項目を順番にお試しください。
YouTube ページを再読み込みする（Ctrl+R）
拡張機能のポップアップで 「Overlay ON」 になっているか確認する
テーマを切り替える（Nico / POP / Classic）
YouTube のライブ配信ページまたはライブチャット付きアーカイブページで確認する
他の拡張機能やユーザースクリプトを一時的に OFF にする
Chrome を再起動する
A. YouTube 側のチャット読み込み状態や通信状況により、一時的に更新が止まることがあります。次をお試しください。
YouTube ページを再読み込み
チャット欄に 再読み込みボタン が表示されている場合はクリック
拡張機能の オーバーレイを一度 OFF → ON
シアタープラスモードを使っている場合は一度 OFF にする
他の YouTube 関連拡張機能を一時的に無効化する
A. シアタープラスモードを有効にすると、シアターモード時にチャット欄を下側へ移動し、動画プレイヤーをより広く表示できます。
オーバーレイ表示と組み合わせることで、動画を大きく見ながらコメントを確認しやすくする機能です。
A. この設定を有効にすると、YouTube をフルスクリーン表示したときに、YouTube 標準のチャット欄を視覚的に非表示にできます。
チャット自体を閉じるわけではなく、動画を広く見ながらオーバーレイでコメントを確認しやすくするための機能です。
A. YouTube 側のレイアウト変更や環境差により、一時的に表示が崩れる場合があります。次をお試しください。

他の YouTube 関連拡張機能を一時的に無効化
A. 各テーマの違いは次のとおりです。
Nico：ニコニコ風にコメントを横方向へ流すテーマ
POP：コメントを吹き出し風に表示するテーマ
Classic：通常のチャット欄に近い形で、動画上にコメントを重ねて表示するテーマ
A. YouTube 側の DOM / UI 変更により、一時的に動作しなくなる場合があります。
その場合は、上のテンプレを使って URL・状況・設定内容 をお知らせください。
テーマ、表示設定、フォント設定、シアタープラスモード、フルスクリーン時のチャット欄表示設定などの設定は、chrome.storage.sync に保存されます。
（Chrome 同期が有効な場合、端末間で同期されることがあります）
チャット内容はオーバーレイ表示のためにのみ参照します。
外部サーバーへ送信したり、保存（ログ化）したりすることはありません。
解析 / 広告 / トラッキング目的の外部送信は行いません。
閲覧履歴、アクセスしたページ一覧、アクセス時刻などのブラウジング履歴は収集・保存しません。

StreamBubbles Overlay for YouTube is a Chrome extension that displays YouTube live chat comments as an overlay on the video player.
It supports three display themes — Nico, POP, and Classic — making it easier to follow chat while watching YouTube live streams or live stream archives with chat.

A. This extension is designed to work on YouTube live stream pages and live archive pages with chat.
The main supported domain is https://www.youtube.com/.
A. You can open the settings from either of the following:
The extension popup in the Chrome toolbar
The icon shown in the bottom-right area of the YouTube player
The icon on the player opens the inline menu, allowing quick setting changes while watching.
A. Please try the following in order:
Reload the YouTube page (Ctrl+R)
Open the extension popup and confirm that Overlay is ON
Try switching themes: Nico / POP / Classic
Check on a YouTube live stream page or a live archive page with live chat
Temporarily disable other extensions or user scripts
Restart Chrome
A. Depending on YouTube’s chat loading state or network conditions, chat updates may temporarily stop. Please try the following:
Reload the YouTube page
Click the reload button in the chat area if it appears
Turn the overlay OFF and then ON again
If Theater Plus Mode is enabled, turn it OFF and test again
Temporarily disable other YouTube-related extensions
A. When Theater Plus Mode is enabled, the chat panel is moved below the player in theater mode, allowing the video player to use more horizontal space.
Combined with the overlay display, this makes it easier to watch a larger video while still following chat comments.
A. When enabled, this option visually hides YouTube’s native chat panel while YouTube is in fullscreen mode.
It does not close the chat itself. The feature is intended to make it easier to watch the video in fullscreen while following comments through the overlay.
A. Depending on changes on YouTube’s side or your environment, the layout may temporarily break. Please try the following:
Reload the page
Turn Theater Plus Mode OFF and ON again
Temporarily disable other YouTube-related extensions
A. The themes behave as follows:
Nico: Displays comments scrolling horizontally across the video in a NicoNico-style format
POP: Displays comments as speech-bubble-style popups
Classic: Displays comments over the video in a style similar to a standard chat panel
A. YouTube DOM / UI changes can temporarily break the extension.

Settings such as theme, display options, font settings, Theater Plus Mode, and fullscreen chat visibility settings are stored in chrome.storage.sync.
(They may sync across devices if Chrome Sync is enabled.)
Chat content is read only to render the overlay.
We do not transmit chat messages to external servers, and we do not store or log chat content.
We do not send user data to external servers for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes.
We do not collect or store browsing history, including visited page lists or access times.
