Streakly — Habit Tracker Effective Date: May 17, 2025 Last Updated: May 17, 2026
Streakly ("we", "our", or "us") is a habit tracking app developed by Muhammad Hasnain (com.nainnie.Streakly). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use Streakly on your iOS device.
The short version: Your habit data never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information.
2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
Your name, email address, or any account information
Your habit names, goals, or personal journal entries
Your location data
Your contacts or calendar data
Any data that identifies you personally
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
A. Advertising Data (Free Users Only) If you use the free version of Streakly, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:
Device advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
Approximate location (country/region level only)
Device type and iOS version
Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalised Ads."
B. Crash Reports We use Apple's built-in crash reporting (if enabled in your iPhone settings). This includes anonymous technical data about app crashes — no personal or habit data is included.
C. App Store Analytics Apple may collect anonymised usage statistics through the App Store. We receive only aggregated, non-identifiable data (e.g. total downloads by country). This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
All habit data — including your habit names, streaks, completion logs, reminders, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
We have no servers
We have no database containing your information
We cannot access your habits even if we wanted to
Deleting the app permanently deletes all your data
iCloud Backup (Pro Feature): If you enable iCloud sync (available to Pro subscribers), your habit data is synced via your personal iCloud account under Apple's infrastructure. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. We never have access to your iCloud data.
Streakly offers a Pro subscription ($2.99/month or $19.99/year) processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information. All purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit and governed by Apple's Terms of Service.
We do not see your payment details
We do not know your Apple ID
Subscription management is done through iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions
The free version of Streakly displays ads powered by Google AdMob.
App Tracking Transparency: On first launch, iOS will ask if you want to allow Streakly to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This controls whether ads are personalised to you.
If you tap Allow: AdMob shows personalised ads using your IDFA
If you tap Don't Allow: AdMob shows non-personalised ads. You still see ads, they are just not tailored to your interests
Opting out later: Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Streakly → toggle off.
Upgrade to Pro to remove all ads completely.
Google's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Streakly is not directed at children under the age of 13 (USA) or 16 (UK/EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
UK Users (UK GDPR):
Right to access your data
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
Right to object to processing
Right to data portability
USA Users (California — CCPA):
Right to know what personal information is collected
Right to delete personal information
Right to opt out of sale of personal information
We do not sell your personal information
Since all your habit data stays on your device, you can exercise your right to erasure simply by deleting the app. For advertising-related data, contact Google at: https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
Habit data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or the data manually
Ad data: Governed by Google AdMob's retention policy (typically 13 months)
Crash reports: Retained by Apple for up to 1 year
