Hi, and welcome to my academic web page! I'm Silvio Traverso and I work as assistant professor at the Dept. of Law and Economic, Social and Political Sciences of the University of Eastern Piedmont.   Previously, I've been assistant professor at the Dept. of Economics of the University of Genoa, research fellow at School of International Studies and at  Dept. of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento, and at the Dept. of Economics and Management of the University of Florence. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Florence. Also, I have completed the Advanced Studies Program in International Economic Policy Research at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

My research interests are diverse but I’m currently working on the effects and the determinants of robot adoption, on the links between international trade and migration, and on the relationship between personality traits and labor market outcomes.
