The first public comment period for the draft of the Strategic Land Use Plan has come to a close. MCRPC has received your comments and is now working on a second draft of the Strategic Land Use Plan. Comments and suggestions received during this first public comment period will help guide the creation of a second draft of the McLean County Strategic Land Use Plan.
Once the second draft is complete, an additional 30-day public review and comment period will be conducted, allowing community members to review the updates and submit additional comments. The second draft is anticipated for public review by mid to late September. There will also be two additional open house events to present updated information and collect additional feedback. These event times and locations are to be determined. Thank you for your participation.
More information regarding the updated timeline and frequently asked questions can be found under the "Public Outreach" and "FAQ" tabs on the left side of this webpage.
