Block Puzzle - Quadrants

Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all information collected directly and indirectly when downloading and using the “Block Puzzle - Quadrants” mobile App on an iOS device.

Information We Collect

The App is free to download via the Apple Store, and it does not require any personal information or registration to use. The App does not make any direct use of backend servers or cloud storage, and it only stores a minimal number of game related non-personal data items locally on the device.

We do use Apple’s App Store for reviews, and their App Analytics for anonymous statistics. In addition to that, we use a 3rd party provider to present Personalized Ads directly in the App.

App Store Reviews

We might respond directly to user reviews on the Apple App store, which will be publicly visible on the product page. If we do, the user will be notified about the response and then has the option to update their review. We can at any time edit our response to a review, but not without the user being notified.

App Analytics

We collect aggregate, anonymous statistics via Apple’s App Store Connect to measure the performance of the App. These metrics include, but are not limited to:

  • App Store impressions

  • Product page views

  • Sales

  • Installations

  • Sessions

  • Crashes

  • Active devices

  • Deletions

Personalized Ads

We use Google’s AdMob service to present personalized banner and interstitial ads in the App. To improve the performance of Google Mobile Ads it may collect certain information from apps, including:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.

  • Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the service. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.

  • User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.

  • A Device ID such as the device's advertising identifier or other app-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics.

  • Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features.

  • Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.

Information usage

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the App, as well as customer support, and we do not share any personal information with outside parties.

Third-party links and content

We take no responsibility for links to third-party web sites from within the App. These web sites have their own independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility nor liability for their content.

We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Information for European Union Customers

By using the App, you authorize us to collect, use, and store information as described in this privacy policy outside of the European Union.

International Transfers of Information

Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
