How you can get involved
Volunteers make the Strait Area Museum a special place for all to visit. We rely on volunteers to accomplish our mission. Volunteers manage and maintain the facility and grounds, plan and help with exhibits and activities, care for the artifacts, archives, and other resources, fundraise; and share many other skills.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the museum or would like to volunteer, please contact us!

The Strait Area Museum is governed by the Port Hastings Historical Society.
The Society is made up of a Board of Directors and Society Members.
Membership is $20 per person or $30 per couple
Youth Membership is also available. Please contact us for more information.
