Thanks
So many people to thank. Nashville Software School for providing the highest quality education to both experienced professionals and total novices (like me), finding the strengths in every student and ensuring that 9 months of dedication was worth it in the end.
To my instructors - It would be impossible to fully express my gratitude to Michael Holloway for his instincts to push me when he knew I had it in me, and to be the reassuring presence when all I needed was someone to tell me everything was going to be okay. Tim Dobbins for pushing me way beyond my limit, and inspiring me to keep reaching for the seemingly infinite possibilities out there. Suneethi Ford for coming in clutch on this project at all the times I was most ready to throw in the towel. Tingting Duan for providing the inspiration and passion for this project in the first place. And lastly to Mary van Valkenburg, Mahesh Rao, the amazing career development team at NSS, and all of the volunteer guests who dedicated their time to make a lasting impression on all of the students in this cohort.
I was fortunate to present this project to three career professionals who gave me thoughtful guidance and inspiration to keep this project going. Thank you to Adrienne Franke, Sanjay Mishra, and Chris Samuelson for donating your time and wisdom. I look forward to implementing all of your suggestions.
To my friends and classmates of Data Science Cohort 4 - I will always be impressed and intimidated by you. Thank you for the laughs, encouragement, and all of the book recommendations.
I'm thrilled to be forging a new career path, and am very fortunate to be starting it out at LBMC. There are a number of non-profit organizations in Nashville who have made me into who I am, and I am very proud to have been a small part of their histories: Studio Tenn Theatre Company, Nashville Repertory Theatre, and The Theater Bug.
And last - thank you to my family and friends who supported me on this endeavor. They've tolerated me throughout the year, and I look forward to enjoying Saturday morning brunches with them again.
