Thank you for using Stowd. Your privacy matters to us, and we've built Stowd to keep your information private by design. This policy explains — in plain language — what Stowd does and does not do with your data.
The short version: Stowd keeps your information on your own device. We don't have accounts, we don't run a server, we don't use analytics, and we don't track you.
Stowd ("we," "us," or "the app") is a travel wardrobe and packing app. This policy applies to the Stowd mobile application.
For any questions about this policy, contact us at: travelwithjessicalyn@gmail.com
Stowd does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on any server.
When you use Stowd, you enter details about your trip — such as your destination, travel dates, style preferences, and planned activities. This information is used only to generate your outfit plan, packing list, and related suggestions, and it is processed entirely on your device.
Most of this information is held only temporarily in the app's memory while you use it and is not saved after you close the app. The one exception is your packing checklist progress (which items you've checked off), which is saved locally on your device so you don't lose your place. This saved information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or anyone else.
Stowd has:
No user accounts — you don't sign up, log in, or provide any personal identifiers.
No backend or cloud storage — there is no server that receives or stores your data.
No analytics or tracking — we do not use any analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, or tracking tools.
No crash reporting SDKs — we do not collect diagnostic or usage data.
Stowd includes "Shop on Amazon" links next to certain clothing and accessory items. Stowd is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate, Stowd earns from qualifying purchases.
When you tap one of these links, Stowd opens your device's standard web browser to an Amazon search for that item, with our affiliate tag included so that any resulting purchase is credited to us. This is ordinary web browsing that happens outside of Stowd — the app itself does not send Amazon any personal information about you. The link simply contains the item name you're shopping for and our affiliate tag.
Once you're on Amazon's website (or in the Amazon app), your activity is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not this one. We have no access to your Amazon account, your purchases, or any personal data you provide to Amazon.
Stowd does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or other sensitive device features to provide its core functions.
Stowd is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because Stowd does not collect personal information from anyone, this applies to all users.
Because Stowd stores information only on your own device and does not transmit it anywhere, your trip information stays under your control. If you delete the app, the locally stored information (such as your packing checklist progress) is removed with it.
If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If we ever add features that change what information the app handles (for example, optional cloud sync or accounts), we will update this policy to describe those changes clearly before or when those features become available.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how Stowd handles your information, please contact us at:
