National Convention

This year, 12 members of the Stover FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Convention on October 27th through the 30th in Indianapolis, Indiana. 55,000 FFA members and guests from all across the country came together when attending this event. Some of our members favorite things they did consisted of touring Major Tool Manufacturing, going to the Stuckey Apple Orchard, attending sessions, and attending the FFA rodeo. Many of our members say that it was amazing to see everyone come together. Emily McKellips, our Secretary, goes on to say that her favorite part was when they all came together to sing the National Anthem. Members say that they learned skills that will help them communicate and become a better leader in the future. Two Stover FFA Alumni, Taylor Osman and Paige Burns (Murry) received their American FFA Degrees during the session on Saturday morning. This is the highest award an FFA member can receive. Everyone who attended had an amazing and wonderful time and can’t wait to go back next year.
