StoriFyx (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the StoriFyx mobile application.
Account Information
When you sign in using email or Google Sign-In, we collect your display name and email address.
Story Submissions
If you submit a story, we collect:
Story text and title
Selected category (Fiction or Real)
The display name you choose
An optional profile picture, if you choose to upload one, which may be shown alongside your submission if the story is featured
Uploading a profile picture is completely optional.
Referral Participation
If you use or share a referral code, we record referral usage to manage ad-free rewards and prevent abuse.
Usage Data
We collect information such as stories and chapters opened, time spent reading, and feature interactions to improve the app experience.
Device Information
We may collect device type, operating system version, and anonymous device identifiers.
App Performance & Crash Data
Collected via analytics tools (such as Firebase) to improve stability and performance.
StoriFyx uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may collect:
Advertising ID
Device information
Ad interaction data
Ads are shown only when opening specific chapters and are never shown during reading or scrolling.
You can manage or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
We use collected information to:
Provide daily stories, featured content, and vault access
Operate chapter-based reading and leaderboards
Display ads and manage ad-free rewards
Review and moderate submitted stories
Improve app performance and user experience
Prevent fraud, misuse, or abuse of promotions
All stories published in StoriFyx remain the intellectual property of StoriFyx.
Selected creators may receive a limited, non-exclusive promotional license to use story excerpts for promotional purposes, with mandatory credit to the app.
No ownership rights are transferred.
We do not sell personal data.
We may share limited information with:
Service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics)
Legal authorities when required by law
Users may report stories they believe violate guidelines.
Reported content is reviewed internally, and we reserve the right to remove or moderate content.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
When an account is deleted:
Authentication data is removed
Personal user data is deleted
Submitted stories may be anonymized
We may retain limited, non-identifiable information to prevent abuse.
StoriFyx may send notifications related to:
New story releases
Vault openings or countdowns
Important app updates
You can enable or disable notifications through device settings.
StoriFyx is intended for users 13 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use reasonable security measures to protect user data.
No system is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
