Story Book Venue Policies

Welcome to Story Book Venue! To ensure that your event runs smoothly and that all guests have a wonderful experience, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following policies:

Booking & Payments

• Reservations: A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit are required to secure your date. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to the event.

• Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 60 days before the event date will result in a forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days will require full payment.

• Rescheduling: Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Event Setup & Tear Down

• Setup Time: Access to the venue is allowed from 8 AM on the day of your event unless otherwise arranged. Please ensure all vendors are aware of this timeframe.

• Tear Down: All decorations, rental items, and personal belongings must be removed by midnight. Additional charges will apply for any items left behind.

• Decorations: We welcome personal touches, but no nails, tacks, or adhesives that could damage the venue are allowed. Any decorations involving open flames must be pre-approved.

Venue Usage

• Capacity: The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests. Please ensure your guest list does not exceed this limit.

• Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages are permitted but must be served by a licensed and insured bartender. We reserve the right to discontinue alcohol service if necessary.

• Smoking: Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacles.

• Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property.

Noise & Music

• Sound Levels: To respect our neighbors, all amplified music must be turned off by 10 PM. Acoustic music may continue until 11 PM.

• Sound System: Outside sound equipment must be pre-approved.

Parking

• Parking Area: There is ample parking available on-site. We ask that guests carpool whenever possible to maximize space.

• Overnight Parking: Vehicles may be left overnight in designated areas but must be picked up by 10 AM the following day.

Liability & Damages

• Liability: The client is responsible for any damage caused to the property or equipment during the event. We recommend obtaining event insurance.

• Damages: Any damage to the venue, furnishings, or landscaping will result in repair fees.

Safety & Compliance

• Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times, particularly near the creek, pond, and any other water features.

• Fire Safety: Fireworks, sparklers, and open flames are not permitted without prior approval.

• Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of venue staff and use designated exits.
