Coach Heath

Eric Heath has coached wrestling for 12 years, with 9 years at Boys Town High School and this being his 3rd Season at Elkhorn South High School. He is married to Brennan and has 2 boys Bodhi (2 years old) and Moxon (8 months old). He graduated high school from MIllard South High School where he was part of the Football, Wrestling, and Soccer Teams. Coach Heath graduated College from University of Nebraska at Omaha with a B.S. in Education. He has been teaching for 7 years and currently is teaching physical education at Manchester Elementary. Eric Heath is also an assistant Middle School Football coach at Elkhorn Ridge Middle School.

Coach Bressler

Mike Bressler moved to Nebraska in 2016. He previously taught and coached in the Federal Way school district in Washington State. Mike Bressler came to the Federal Way School District in 1997 and quickly established himself as an extraordinary coach and teacher. His first teaching position was at Lakota Junior High where he taught history and served as the Head Football Coach where they won a district title in 1998. At the same time, Mike took over the head wrestling position at Decatur High School. During his tenure there, he took a struggling program and made it a state power earning 3 regional titles, 3 SPSL championships, 2 SPSL NW division titles, and 1 central division championship. Individual wrestlers accrued 8 state titles, 2 of them as two timers—in all, 15 state finalists and 37 individual state medalists. As a team, Decatur finished second twice in state and became a consistent top ten team. Coach Bressler has been recognized as SPSL Coach of the Year four times and a two-time State Coach of the Year. Mike’s accomplishments as a coach speak for themselves, but it is his commitment to family which includes his wife, Kathy, daughter, Laura, and two sons, Jason and Kyle, that speaks to his heart and character. Mike Bressler was a four-year varsity athlete at the University of Washington, Captain, and Outstanding Wrestler who placed second in the PAC 10 two times and twice as a national qualifier. As a high school wrestler, Mike was a two-time state champion at 190# with a 86-5 overall record. Additionally he was the state Greco roman and freestyle champion as well as a fifth place finisher in the national championships. Simply stated, Mike has brought excellence in wrestling to the Federal Way School District and to the state of Washington.

Coach Fellman

Coach Fellman is in his seventh year as an assistant coach for the Storm. He graduated from Elkhorn High School in 2002 where he was a three-sport athlete in football, wrestling, and soccer. Coach Fellman joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2003 as a Cavalry Scout and served 2 years in Iraq, a year in Afghanistan and a year in Cuba as a Military Police. He is currently a Master Sergeant with the MCPOD in Lincoln, Nebraska. Coach Fellman graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor degree in elementary education with a focus on social sciences and a endorsement in coaching. He currently works for Elkhorn Public Schools as a 5th grade teacher at Spring Ridge Elementary. As a competitor, Coach Fellman wrestled for Elkhorn High where he placed 5th and 4th at the NSAA State Championships. Coach Fellman started his coaching career in college as an assistant coach at Elkhorn High School for wrestling and Nathan Hale Middle School for soccer.

Coach Wright

Mason Wright is a former member of the Elkhorn South wrestling team. Before graduating in 2015, he was a four-time State qualifier and a three-time State medalist placing 5th in Class B in 2013 and 6th in Class A in 2014. He capped off his career with a 49-4 season record and a 4th place Class A State finish in 2015. One of his top accomplishments was breaking Nebraska's Class A Career Wins record with 175 wins. He also still holds some of Elkhorn South's season and career records. After graduating high school, Mason attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He graduated with honors from UNL's Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and minors in Business and Mathematics. Since graduating, he has been working as a Software Developer at DRT, LLC in Carter Lake, Iowa.
