Storm Watch began as a small group, founded in 2012 by Andres Leon, with only 5 members. At that time, the group was under the name "Pulse Entertainment". The original goal was to present new music to audiences, and provide the most authentic show for them as possible. As the band grew in numbers and more became involved with music education, that goal transitioned to helping others continue their music journey after high school.

Ensembles
Under the Storm Watch name, there are two ensembles that perform: a Wind Band and a Drumline. The Wind Band is a rock group that primarily features wind instruments, and the Drumline group is a rock group that features primarily mobile percussion instruments. This includes Taiko drums and a custom built, stationary Quad set.
