Thoroughbreds

• Art must be original and made for this show (no premade lineart/ reused art pieces)

• Tracing is allowed as long as the reference images are credited

• AI generated images are not allowed

• Commissioned, leased, and art payment entries are allowed.

• Competitors can only enter one horse per race, but can enter as many races as they like so long as the race criteria is met. 

• No previous race experience is needed to enter unless otherwise stated.

• A minimum of a headshot with a simple or photo background is required for all entries.

• All backgrounds must be unique to each piece, and cannot be reused for multiple entries. 

• Photo backgrounds are allowed, but will only earn 0.5 pts. Photos must be stock/open source images and need to be linked in the description.

• Photo manipulated backgrounds with considerable editing/changes can qualify for more points, as long as all stock images used are linked in the description. Photos used must be relevant to the class (Ex. no open fields or other non-track related locations).

• Entries can depict any part of the racing process: running during the race, standing in the starting gate, being led onto the track, tacking up, etc. However, entries should not show their horse winning the race.

• Horses and their riders must be wearing appropriate racing tack and attire.

• Horses can only be pure Thoroughbreds.

• Thoroughbred horses must be realistic, meaning only coat colors that are found in real horses and do not include any fantasy features (wings, horns, etc). 

• "Throwback" entries are allowed. Age is no longer taken into consideration for entries, so the ages listed on the race card are just for fun/RP purposes.

• I (Storm-Coast) may enter my own horses in these classes, but my entries will automatically place last unless I am the only entry in that class. (Ex. If there are three entries, I place 3rd)

Shedus and Asauchi

• Commissioned, leased, and art payment entries are allowed. Prizes go to the owner of the cat or horse, not the person who did the entry (unless otherwise noted by cat or horse's owner).

• Competitors can only enter one shedu per shedu race, and one Asauchi per Asauchi race, but can enter as many races as they like so long as the race criteria is met. 

• No previous race experience is needed to enter unless otherwise stated.

• A minimum of a half-body shedu/Asauchi with full-body jockey and a simple or photo background is required for all entries.

• All backgrounds must be unique to each piece, and cannot be reused for multiple entries. 

• Photo backgrounds are allowed, but will only earn 0.5 pts. Photos must be stock/open source images and need to be linked in the description.

• Photo manipulated backgrounds with considerable editing/changes can qualify for more points, as long as all stock images used are linked in the description. Photos used must be relevant to the class (Ex. no open fields or other non-track related locations).

• Shedus must be any of the following body types: Classic slim, Classic heavy, Arabian. Blood percentage doesn’t matter, but any other body types are not permitted.

• Both Official and Streetbred cats are permitted

• Shedus and Asauchi cannot be shorter than 150cm in height.

• "Throwback" entries are allowed. Age is no longer taken into consideration for entries, so the ages listed on the race card are just for fun/RP purposes.

• I (Storm-Coast) may enter my own shedus/Asauchi in these classes, but my entries will automatically place last unless I am the only entry in that class. (Ex. If there are three entries, I place 3rd)

Additional Prizes

• Horses registered with the Thoroughbred-Society group recieve an additional +1 CP per entry.

• Horses registered with the Thoroughbred-World group recieve an additional +3 registry points per entry.

• Correct track surface depicted: +1 pts

• Correct race direction depicted: +1 pts

• Correct weather depicted: +1 pts

• Location is recognizable*: +1 pts

*Identifiable features from the racetrack are included in the entry (Examples: correct grandstand, landscape, or in-field details that make it accurate to the racetrack for that month)

RNG:

• RNG is only used to break tied scores. In the case of a tie, a random number between 1 and 10 is added to the score of each tied competitor. If the RNG rolls happen to result in a tie a second time, then there will be multiple winners in a “dead heat”. 

Shedus and Asauchi
