Closing Permanently January 17th, 2026

Dear Valued Paintball and Airsoft Customers - (firearms see below),

The Stores at 6287 Busch Blvd. Columbus, OH 43229  will be closing permanently on January 17th, 2026. We are retiring from the business after 42 years of serving the Paintball and Airsoft communities in Central Ohio and Across the country through our stores and mailorder/internet divisions. 

There are a limited number of accessories and closeouts available, but all paintball and airsoft guns are sold out at this time.  Until we close, please stop in for super special closeout deals on accessories.

Dear Valued Alpha Star Tactical Customer / Fellow FFL Partners,

After 13 rewarding years of serving the firearms community, my family and I have made the bittersweet decision to retire and permanently close Alpha Star Tactical on January 17, 2026. This was not an easy choice, but the time has come for us to step away, spend more time with family, and enjoy the next chapter of life. We are deeply grateful for the trust, friendship, and support you’ve shown us since we first opened our doors in 2012.

Important Dates You Need to Know:

Friday, December 19, 2025 – Last day we will accept or process any new incoming or outgoing transfers.  (After this date, we will no longer be able to receive firearms on your behalf or send transfers out.)

Saturday, January 17, 2026 – Final day Alpha Star Tactical will be open to the public. After this date, our FFL will be surrendered and the business will officially close.

If you currently have a firearm in our possession or in transit to us, we will contact you directly to make arrangements. For anyone planning a transfer through Alpha Star Tactical, we strongly encourage you to complete it by December 19th to avoid any issues.
