MaalKahan ("we," "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. 

MaalKahan helps shop, medical store, and warehouse owners answer one question in seconds: "Do I have this, and where is it?" No more wasting your time — and your customer's — searching shelves while they wait. Search by name, scan a barcode, or just browse photos of your own products to find exactly what you're looking for, instantly. 

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

We do not collect or share any of your personal data to any third parties.

Permissions:

- Camera: to capture product photos and scan barcodes/QR codes - Microphone: to convert your spoken search into text (Premium voice search). Audio is processed for this conversion only and is not stored or transmitted anywhere. - Notifications: to alert you about low stock, expiring items, and overdue customer payments (Premium) - Google Account access: only requested if you choose to use Google Drive backup, to authenticate that backup to your own Drive 

Your Privacy Matters

DATA DELETION Because all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app deletes all app data permanently. If you've used Google Drive backup, you can delete those backup files directly from your Google Drive at any time. 

Data We Collect

All data below is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. Nothing is transmitted to MaalKahan's developer or any third-party server.

 - Product information you enter: names, locations, quantities, photos, expiry dates, barcodes - Customer credit (udhaar) records you enter: customer names, phone numbers (optional), amounts owed, payment status - Product photos captured via your device camera 

DATA THAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE, AND WHEN - 

Google Drive Backup (optional, user-initiated): if you choose to back up your data, it is uploaded to your own Google Drive account using Google's Drive API. We do not have access to this data — it is stored in your personal Drive, under your Google account's own privacy controls. - Payment reminders (optional, user-initiated): tapping "Remind" on a udhaar entry opens WhatsApp or your messaging app with a pre-filled message. MaalKahan does not send this message itself or store the fact that you sent it anywhere beyond your device. - Subscription payments: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. MaalKahan never receives or stores your payment card details.

Google Play Billing (subscription payments) — governed by Google's own privacy policy - Google Drive API (optional backup) — governed by Google's own privacy policy - WhatsApp / SMS (optional payment reminders) — governed by those apps' own privacy policies 

Children's Privacy

Our application does not address any one under the age of 13.  We do not collect any personal information from children through our application.

It is just a  Store Management  application.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

 If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
