Spread the word! Tell everyone you know about this issue, let's keep the momentum up!
Join our Facebook group and visit our website - We've created a Facebook group (Stop the West Haven 3300 S. - 3600 S. Connector) to stay connected and create a continuing dialogue. This will allow our community to receive any new information as it comes out, discuss community efforts, and figure out better solutions to traffic flows within our area. the link to the group and website is posted below:
2025 Elections - The mayor and two sitting council members are up for re-election this year. This is a perfect opportunity to ask these individuals their personal stance on the connector road, and what they will commit to to earn our vote this fall.
Attend any West Haven City Council meeting and speak up during the public presentation portion of the meeting. Each citizen receives 2 minutes uninterrupted to speak on any issue they want! (Meetings are every 1st & 3rd Wednesday, 6 PM at City Hall.)
Email or call City Council members and the Mayor. Tell them directly how this road will hurt you — loss of property, noise, safety, privacy, or property value. Ask them to pause right-of-way purchases and re-open discussion.
Submit a GRAMA request (public records request) to West Haven and Weber County asking for traffic studies, alternatives analyses, and communications on this road. The more requests, the harder it is to hide information.
Reach out to Weber County officials and WACOG (Weber Area Council of Governments). Remind them they control corridor preservation funds, and ask them to suspend or reconsider support for this project.
Prepare personal impact statements. If eminent domain becomes a threat, it’s critical we already have clear records of how this road will harm our families.
