First Session, Intermediate Stop-Motion Animation Stream ( first two weeks of July)

Extraordinary things happen when kids acquire the skills to create a new stomping ground through creative learning experiences involving Music, Art and Animation. In this stream students came up with original story ideas, learned how to work in teams to plan out thier animations uisng storyboards, recorded sounds using Garageband and BBC sound archive, created replaceable mouth positions and accessories using fimo, and explored how to animate various animation mediums using the Stop-Motion Studio app on the ipads. The first session I embedded all the video clips into one movie file.
After getting feedback from the students, many of them felt that each film should be seen in its own right, that the film.. 20 minutes was too long. I used their suggestions for the next session.
