Mini Grants
The Stony Brook School PTO is pleased to offer an opportunity to all staff members to apply for Mini-Grants to fund classroom/school needs that enhance the educational experience of the students but are not usually paid for by the school budget or fall outside the purview of what can be funded by the school/district.
Two Cycles per year
Funds available: $1750 for the 23-24 School year
Deadline: Spring Applications will be announced soon!
Review/Approval: At the PTO meeting following the application

Primary consideration for Mini-Grant approval:
Enriches the educational/social/physical experience of a large group of students
Has realistic implementation/execution goals
Is cost-effective
Secondary considerations for approval (not applicable for Cycle 1)
Has the applicant already received a grant this school year?
Has this application been deferred in the past?
