StonksAI ("StonksAI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

• Account Information: When you register, we collect personal data, such as your name and email address, as provided by Google's authentication service. We use this to create and manage your user account.

• Subscription & Billing Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment information. We store a record of the transaction and your Stripe Customer ID but do not store or have access to your full payment card details.

• User-Generated Content:

  • Chart Images: The chart images you upload are processed by our AI models to provide analysis. These images are temporarily stored to perform the analysis and are then saved in a secure cloud storage bucket linked to your account for access within your Analysis History and Journal.

  • Strategies & Journal Entries: Your custom strategies, AI analyses, and journal entries, including notes and outcomes, are stored securely in our database. This data is essential for the core functionality of the Service, including statistical analysis and the "Similar Setups" feature.

• Usage Data: We automatically collect usage metrics, such as the number of analyses run, features used, and API interactions. This data is aggregated and used to monitor service health, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. We do not track your browsing activity on other websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

• Process your subscription and manage your account.

• Authenticate your access to the Service.

• Respond to your comments, questions, and provide customer support.

• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience and the Service's performance.

• Protect against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.

Your personal trading data, such as journal entries and strategies, is yours. We will never use it to trade for our own accounts or share it with other users. The AI may be trained on anonymized, aggregated patterns to improve its core capabilities, but never in a way that exposes your specific trades, strategies, or personal identity.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:

• With Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors that perform services for us, including Google (for authentication, cloud storage, and AI models via Google Gemini), and Stripe (for payment processing). These service providers have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

• By Law or to Protect Rights: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users or the public.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your paid subscription, your data (including all journal entries, analysis history, and custom strategies) will be permanently deleted from our systems at the end of your final billing period. This action is irreversible.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your account information at any time by signing into your account. If you wish to permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact our support.
